Alpha Shipping offers a full range of port and liner agency services and is a recognised licensed agent. The company is a member of the South African Association of Ship Operators and Agents.
Our services include the handling of just about all types of vessel including containers, break bulk, bulk and liquid cargoes. Our experienced operations team is fully conversant with the loading and discharge of IMO Class 1 cargoes, heavy lifts, and project cargoes.
Alpha Shipping can provide intermodal transport, customs clearance, freight forwarding, LCL groupage, air freight and cargo insurance.
We also:
- operate our own fleet of iso-tank containers, for hazardous, FOSFA, and non hazardous cargoes
- buy and sell containers
- lease containers
- operate as NVOCC
